WHY CHRIS COACHES MEN

Most men were never taught how to lead inside a marriage. They were taught how to provide, compete, and push through pressure, but not how to stay emotionally connected, navigate conflict without shutting down, or lead through seasons of change at home. This gap matters. Nearly 70 percent of divorces are filed by wives, not because men are weak or failing, but because many men are unprepared for what marriage actually requires long term.

Marriage Underdogs exists to close that gap.

GETTING STARTED WITH CHRIS

All coaching engagements begin with a required Marriage Leadership Kickoff ($375, up to 2 hours). This is not a motivational session or a surface-level conversation. It is a focused starting point designed to assess how you are currently showing up in your marriage and family life, where connection is breaking down, and what patterns keep repeating at home. During this session, Chris evaluates leadership strengths and blind spots, readiness for coaching, and which path forward fits your situation.

If coaching is a good fit, Chris will recommend a structured coaching package aligned with your needs. Ongoing work is delivered exclusively through defined coaching packages, not open-ended or drop-in sessions. Men who move forward should expect to make a meaningful investment in their growth and leadership, with programs structured to deliver lasting change rather than short-term insight.

$375 | Up to 2 Hours
This is no pep talk or surface conversation. Our first meeting will:

  • Identify where connection is breaking down

  • Clarify patterns that keep repeating at home

  • Talk honestly about leadership strengths and blind spots

  • Assess readiness for coaching

  • Decide which coaching path fits your situation

At the end of this session, you will know:

  • What is making you lose trust and connection

  • What kind of leadership your marriage actually needs

  • Which path is appropriate for your situation

Important: Ongoing work is done through structured packages ONLY.
I do not offer open-ended coaching.

Marriage Leadership Kickoff

Who This Work Is For

Most coaching focuses on processing.

My work focuses on change.
Marriage Underdogs is designed for men who are:

  • Used to leading at work but unsure how to lead at home

  • Married, engaged, or seriously preparing for marriage

  • Motivated but often misunderstood by their partner

  • Tired of recurring conflict or emotional distance

  • Willing to be coached, challenged, and accountable

This work is especially effective for men whose drive helped them succeed professionally, but created strain at home.

HOW CHRIS FUSES COACHING & COUNSELING

Marriage Underdogs coaching and marriage counseling are not competing services. They are complementary. Coaching is ideal when:

  • The primary work is leadership and behavior change

  • The man wants to work individually

  • The marriage needs direction, not crisis intervention

Counseling may be recommended when:

  • Both partners need to be involved

  • There is infidelity, betrayal, or high conflict

  • Emotional repair requires joint work

Some men start in coaching and later transition into couples counseling. Others do the reverse. The goal is not to fit you into a service.
The goal is to choose the work that actually helps.
